What is a Local Needs Assessment (LNA)?
A Local Needs Assessment (LNA) helps us understand what children and families in our community need, what resources are available, and where more support may be needed. The Northeast Early Childhood Council gathered input from parents, educators, childcare providers, and community partners through surveys, discussions, focus groups, and local data. This information helps us identify our region’s strengths, challenges, and priorities so we can work together to better support children and families across our seven-town region.
