Community Tables bring together people from across our community to network, share resources, problem-solve, and take action on local needs. Membership is open to all community stakeholders, such as childcare providers, parents, caregivers, agencies, organizations, businesses, educators, schools, & local officials, who have an interest in early childhood and working together on the mission of the NECC.
Whether you work with children, care for them, or simply want to make a difference, your voice matters. Community Tables provide an opportunity to build relationships, learn about local resources and initiatives, identify emerging needs, and work together on solutions that support children and families throughout northeastern Connecticut. Every perspective is valued, and there is no long term commitment. We welcome both new and returning participants at every meeting.
Meetings are held three times each year in a relaxed and welcoming environment that encourages conversation, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas. Participants have the opportunity to discuss current community needs, celebrate successes, and explore ways to work together to improve outcomes for children and families.
Dinner is provided, and on site childcare is available for children ages 2 and up so parents and caregivers can participate comfortably.
