Screen Time Discussion – virtual
This one-hour Zoom session will be facilitated by a child care expert from 211 Child Care and will focus on practical strategies parents can use at home regarding screen time. Through a series of questions we will explore our own attitudes, share some research, and talk about how to use screen time wisely.

Parent Social – in person
Our monthly parent socials are held the 4th Sunday of the month (except for holiday weekends). Hosted by our Parent Ambassadors and Jessica Gervais from Parent’s Corner, It’s a low-key space to chat, connect, and just be around other parents who get it. We provide some light snacks and a non-judgemental space to help build your village.
Kids welcome, but must be supervised. Registration is required as space is limited.

Mental Health Task Force (MHTF) – virtual
These virtual sessions feature guest speakers at each meeting and offer opportunities for community providers to highlight their programs, services, and referral pathways, and share how school staff and families can best access support. There is time for dialogue, relationship-building, and identifying opportunities to strengthen mental health supports for children and families in our communities.
We welcome mental/behavioral health providers, early childhood providers, school staff, policymakers and organizations serving our families.

Social-Emotional Learning Workshop – in person
Join us for a fun and practical evening designed to help families support young children in building strong social and emotional skills. Families will learn simple, everyday strategies to help children understand and manage their emotions, and each family will receive a free Social-Emotional Learning Kit filled with books, tools, and activities to use at home.
This free event is for families with children ages 2–8. The evening begins with a free dinner from 5:30–6:00 PM, followed by the workshop from 6:00–7:15 PM. Free childcare will be provided for children ages 2 and up. Space is limited and registration is required by June 3.
