This one-hour Zoom session will be facilitated by a child care expert from 211 Child Care and will focus on social-emotional learning. You will learn practical strategies you can use at home to help navigate your child’s feelings and behavior.

Summer Parent Social – in person

Our monthly parent socials are held the 4th Sunday of the month (except for holiday weekends). Hosted by our Parent Ambassadors and Jessica Gervais from Parent’s Corner, It’s a low-key space to chat, connect, and just be around other parents who get it. For our summer meetups, we will be taking it outside and meeting at The Scoop Social in Putnam. Ice cream and refreshments will be available for purchase. Guests are responsible for their own orders. Summer parent socials at The Scoop Social are weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, updates will be shared via email and social media.

Kids welcome, but must be supervised. Registration is required.

Community Table – in person

Community Table stakeholders come together to network, share resources, problem-solve, and take action on local needs. Membership is open to all community stakeholders, such as childcare providers, parents, caregivers, agencies, organizations, businesses, educators, schools, & local officials, who have an interest in early childhood and working together on the mission of the NECC.

Meetings are held 2-3 times per year and provide a relaxed, supportive space to problem-solve, share ideas, and take meaningful action together. Dinner is provided, and on-site childcare is available for children ages 2 and up, so parents can participate fully and comfortably.
